Robert Blitz's Personal Profile:
I have been playing paintball for over 20 years. I brought my first field 15 years ago and have been in the industry ever since, I have developed some of the biggest fields in the country and opened a supply line to the industry which has helped to dramatically lower the prices to the players and fields. This supply line still operates and sells to over 90% of the fields in New Zealand.
I entered into the event management of tournaments back in 2003? With New Zealand's first indoor event and grew the same event the following year. With the contacts I have developed through the states we ended up with one of the 1st American pro teams to travel to and play in a New Zealand event.
I have run numerous other events on a smaller scale inc the business house games which I grew over 4 years to have 45 teams playing in a round robin format. I plan to help grow the sport back to what I believe it should be like now, 30+ teams at major events.
Teaming up with Jason and Pete will give us a strong base with a very wide and diverse outlook on what will be best, between us all there is enough experience and drive to create for you the greatest events ever held within New Zealand.
